The Miracle of Garabandal — 11 May 2017?

UPDATE: Since the Warning did not occur on Good Friday of 2016, the Miracle of Garabandal is also NOT in 2016. The next possible date for the Miracle is 11 May 2017.

Through my work in eschatology, I’ve concluded that the date of the miracle described by the visionaries of Garabandal is Thursday, the 12th of May in 2016. That date is the feast of Blessed Imelda, a favorite of Pope Francis, and the vigil of the feast of our Lady of Fatima (13 May 2016). I could be mistaken, but everything fits well into this particular timing.

The miracle certainly occurs after the Warning and the Consolation (Good Friday and Easter of 2016). Only repentant sinners can possibly receive this gift of the miracle. The event of the Miracle is threefold:

1. Miraculous healings for many (but not all) ill or injured persons on earth. Millions of persons will be healed.
2. Sinners and unbelievers will be converted by the millions.
3. Permanent miraculous Signs will be left at the locations of true private revelation in many places.

On Good Friday of 2016, the Warning of Garabandal occurs. In this event, God illuminates the conscience of each human person on earth. Each person sees the sins that are still on his or her conscience. Sins that have been forgiven, especially with sufficient penances, will NOT be seen. The soul is NOT seen as God sees it. It is NOT a mini-judgment (referring to the particular judgment).

There are many false private revelations in the world today, making false claims about this event. Do not be deceived. Afterward, they will take credit for the Warning, as if they had predicted it, when in fact they only stole their information about the event from the true private revelation of Garabandal.

On Easter Sunday of 2016, the Consolation occurs. My understanding is that the Warning of Garabandal is the first secret of Medjugorje, and the Miracle of Garabandal is the third secret of Medjugorje (which also talks about a permanent sign). So the Consolation is the second secret of Medjugorje (not mentioned at Garabandal). The Consolation is an event in which God consoles the repentant sinners after the Warning, by showing them the virtuous deeds on their conscience. Those who reject the Warning by refusing to repent from their sins will not receive the Consolation or the Miracle.

I expect Pope Francis (or the Holy See under him) to formally disapprove of Medjugorje and Garabandal prior to the Warning. Many who are weak in faith will then fall away from supporting and believing these two true private revelations. But decisions of this type by the Pope or the Church are of the fallible temporal authority, not of the teaching authority (Magisterium), so errors are possible.

If you want to receive the benefits of the Miracle, prepare for the Warning. Examine your conscience and repent from your sins. Go to confession weekly, or at least once a month. Pray frequently. Practice self-denial in all areas of your life. Undertake works of mercy toward those in need. Prepare ye the way of the Lord.

  1. Michael says:

“Many who are weak in faith will then fall away from supporting and believing these two true private revelations.”

I wouldn’t necessarily say that those who no longer support Garabandal or Medjugorje are weak in faith, especially in light of a formal disapproval by the Holy Father. That would presume Pope Francis himself is weak in faith. A person can live a holy and devout life with a very strong faith without supporting any “true” private revelation.

  2. Joshua says:

Mr. Conte, what do you make of Joey Lomangino’s passing?

    • Ron Conte says:

Surprising. Perhaps the saying that he would have new eyes on the day of the Miracle refers to his role in Heaven to see the effects of the Miracle around the world. It is not unprecedented for a true prediction to be misunderstood:
{21:21} Therefore, when Peter had seen him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, but what about this one?”
{21:22} Jesus said to him: “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow me.”
{21:23} Therefore, the saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?”
