visionary Maria Divine Mercy of the Warning Second Coming

The blog Midway Street is reporting confirmation that claimed visionary “Maria Divine Mercy” (MDM) is Mary Carberry of Dublin county Ireland. Newspaper “the Irish Mail” reported on Feb. 1 and Feb. 8th of 2015 that voice analysis confirms her identity. Her website, TheWarningSecondComing.com, has been shut down.

I’ve written several previous posts on this topic, including one that participated in the disclosure of her true identity: The Identity of Maria Divine Mercy. See also my page of evaluations of claimed private revelation: Maria Divine Mercy #199. Evaluations and links.

Her messages openly reject Pope Francis as the true and valid Pope, calling him an imposter and the “false prophet” associated with the Antichrist. Like so many other false visionaries, Maria Divine Mercy claimed that the Antichrist is in the world today, that the end of the world will occur for this generation, and that Jesus will return for this generation. See my article here on why these claims cannot be true:

One of Maria Divine Mercy’s adherents, Kelly Bowring, has accepted her claimed messages accusing Pope Francis of the False Prophet associated with the Antichrist, as described in the book of Revelation:
http://twoheartspress.com/uncategorized/concerning-pope-francis-and-the-false-prophet/
http://twoheartspress.com/blog/how-to-respond-if-pope-francis-is-the-false-prophet-2/

By his public declaration of obstinate doubt concerning the validity and authority of Pope Francis, Kelly Bowring has committed public formal schism, the penalty for which is automatic excommunication.

The messages of Maria Divine Mercy are filled with grave theological errors and open attacks on the Pope and the Church. The messages utterly reject the dogma that the Church is indefectible, instead claiming that the Pope and the body of Bishops will fall away from the Christian faith entirely, so that the faithful must (supposedly) reject the Church and follow claimed visionaries instead. Anyone who believes the false teachings of Maria Divine Mercy on grave matters of faith and morals thereby adheres to heresy. Anyone who rejects Pope Francis or any of his predecessors and successors in the chair of Saint Peter thereby commits schism.

{7:15} Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

{24:23} Then if anyone will have said to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘he is there,’ do not be willing to believe it.
{24:24} For there will arise false Christs and false prophets. And they will produce great signs and wonders, so much so as to lead into error even the elect (if this could be).
{24:25} Behold, I have warned you beforehand.

Ron – Who is considered the “elect”?

    • Ron Conte says:

The elect are all those souls predestined to Heaven. But in the Catholic view, predestination includes free will; so it is simply the knowledge of God concerning which souls will be saved by free will and grace. All human persons are offered salvation, but not all accept the offer.
