A Warning about the Warning of Garabandal

The Warning of Garabandal is also called the illumination of consciences. In my understanding, this event is the same as the first secret of Medjugorje. My prediction for the date of this event is Good Friday of 2016. The Warning is then followed by the Consolation, on Easter Sunday of 2016, and the Miracle of Garabandal (third secret of Medjugorje) on May 12th of 2016. The Miracle does not occur in April.

Among Catholics who are interested in eschatology, the predicted events of the Warning and Miracle have become well-known and much-discussed. However, a serious problem has risen up in recent years, concerning these events and eschatology more generally.

Faithful Catholics know that at times the Blessed Virgin Mary has appeared in private revelation to certain few persons, such as occurred at Fatima, Guadalupe, Lourdes, La Salette, Akita, and a few other places. I also believe that Mary appeared at Garabandal and Medjugorje. These are all true private revelations.

However, there are many false private revelations in the world today. It is possible that some of these claimed private revelations are the result of mental illness or that the claimed visionaries are simply lying. But in most cases, I think that these false private revelations are from fallen angels (devils). See my list of true and false private revelations here.

One of the tricks used by false private revelations is to try to associate the false private revelation with some of the true ones. Another trick is to take material from true private revelation and distort it. So it is that more than a few false private revelations, which are from devil not from heaven, speak about the Warning and related events in eschatology. And they are spreading all kinds of misinformation and false claims.

Be careful whom you accept as a Teacher of the Faith. Some Catholics have been led far astray from Jesus and His Church by listening to the messages of false private revelation. They are spreading grave errors on faith, morals, and salvation, as well as false ideas about the future. The messages of the Blessed Virgin Mary in true private revelation are useful, but never essential. The essential teachings are found in Tradition, Scripture, Magisterium. But what would happen to your soul if you believe in the messages of some false private revelations? You would then be led by messages from devils, not from heaven.

And what does it say about the faith of those Catholics who cannot distinguish between the messages of the Blessed Virgin Mary and messages from devils? How little they understand of the true faith! What a poor relationship they must have with Jesus and Mary, if they cannot distinguish the words of heaven from the words of hell! And to make matters worse, after being led astray themselves, they go online to promote the messages of false private revelations, harming many other souls. You will be held accountable by God for every soul you have harmed, including your own. Do not behave as if the things you do on the internet are not seen by God and are not subject to conscience and morality.

A certain Catholic forum has been promoting numerous false private revelations for many years. They are excited by the messages taught by devils through false visionaries, and they are bored by the truths taught by the Holy Spirit through the Roman Catholic Magisterium. Their interest in the messages of false visionaries is a sin of commission, and their disinterest in the truths of the Magisterium is a sin of omission. They welcome heretics, and show contempt for anyone who tries to correct them. May God himself correct them.

The Warning of Garabandal is only about 2 months away (25 March 2016). Prepare your souls. Stop reading messages of false private revelation. Read the Bible and study the teachings of the Church, especially on morality. Increase your prayers, self-denial, and works of mercy. Cease from all your grave sins, including sexual sins, malice toward others, pride, and sins of omission.

Many souls are being scandalized by the promotion of false private revelation. The Warning will correct many persons in this regard. But since that event only illuminates the conscience, not everyone will be corrected. For some persons commit grave sins, without realizing it. When the Miracle occurs, miraculous permanent signs from heaven will be placed at the locations of true private revelation. But the locations of false private revelation will be barren. Together, the Warning and the Miracle will sweep away many false private revelations. But since people always have free will, they are still able to sin in this regard. So not every problem is solved by the Warning, Consolation, and Miracle.
