One Month until the Warning of Garabandal

People who believe in the events predicted at Garabandal and Medjugorje generally do not realize the profound effects these events will have on society and the Church, and on each person’s life individually. The Warning, Consolation, and Miracle will have effects on humanity that will continue until Christ returns in the distant future

The immediate effects will be very substantial. Many people will repent with great sorrow. The repentant will renew their efforts to love God and neighbor, to move the Church toward greater holiness, and to move society toward greater justice. Some persons will be struck dead by the shock of seeing their many sins. The unrepentant will react in a wide range of different ways. Some of those who refuse to repent will react with anger, or fear, or desperation. Some persons, a small percent but a large number, will commit the grave sin of suicide. Some others will immerse themselves in pleasures and entertainments, in order to distract themselves from their unrepentant sins:

[Isaiah]
{22:12} And in that day, the Lord, the God of hosts, will call to weeping and mourning, to baldness and the wearing of sackcloth.
{22:13} But behold: gladness and rejoicing, the killing of calves and the slaughter of rams, the eating of meat and the drinking of wine: “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
{22:14} And the voice of the Lord of hosts was revealed in my ears: “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you, until you die,” says the Lord, the God of hosts.

The Church will suddenly become much holier. The lines for Confession will be very long. Priests will spend many hours each day hearing confessions, and many will be told to come back tomorrow to stand in line for Confession again. Some of the most wicked persons in the Church will be struck dead. Some of the false teachers will repent. Other false teachers will generally lose much of the support they formerly had. Some false teachers and false prophets will feign repentance, so as to retain their following. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Many non-Catholics will renew their interest in their own religion, especially non-Catholic Christians, and Jews, and moderate Muslims. Some atheists and agnostics will convert to belief in God. Many non-Christians will become interested in converting to Christianity. And the Warning will sow the seeds of conversion in the hearts of non-Catholic Christians, so that eventually all Christians will unite in the one holy Catholic Church.

The U.S. Presidential election and the accompanying Congressional and State elections will be thrown into chaos. Many voters will suddenly change their minds about what they want from politics. The repentant will vote out of a renewed sense of conscience. The unrepentant will vote in fear that the repentant will gain control of society and take away their beloved sins. Some candidates for election will be truly repentant, but others will feign repentance in order to win votes.

Culture will be strongly affected by the Warning. But I suppose that, since many repent and many others refuse to repent, the culture will split into two opposing cultural forces, one that tends toward wholesome entertainment as well as peace, love, and justice, and the other that tries to reaffirm the current sinful trends in culture.

Law will also be affected by the Warning. It will be much easier to change the laws to fight against abortion and other types of injustices. But since many persons will have failed to repent, the Warning will not solve all societal problems. It will not be easy to ban all direct abortion or to reverse the current approvals for gay marriage and other sins. The Warning is just the beginning of a long struggle between good and evil in society.

    Ron,
On one of your threads you indicate the best guess for time being 8:51 eastern time given IST of 2:51. But I noticed that Israel has a time change early March 25th thus a 7 hour difference. Wouldn’t the time be 7:51 eastern?

    • Ron Conte says:

The time is based on sun time when Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem. It is unaffected by the current time in Israel (whether they have daylight savings time or not).

  2. Vi Dete says:

    Ron,

How do you know the Warning will take in a month? Did you have a private revelation? Thanks.

    • Ron Conte says:

I have never received any private revelation. The dates in my eschatology are arrived at by study of many sources. I can’t give a brief explanation. See my published writings.

I wish you are right! I really want it to happen now.

Let me say, and hope that won’t be moderated, that the prophecy cannot be taken for granted. No prophecy is written in stone. Not even Medjugorje and Garabandal. God is free to change it. The Bible gives quite a large space for interpretation.

Personally, I’d rather expect WW3 or some preliminary stage of it, to start shortly after the failure of the current peace negotiations in Syria (plus other hot spots that may break out simultaneously). Whether or not God will offer salvation of those who believe in Him Before that, I just don’t know. I hope it is as you say, really. Good luck!

    • Ron Conte says:

Whenever any prophecy is truly from God, and is correctly understood, it is written in stone and cannot change. For God is all-knowing; he knows the entire future with absolute certitude. All our future free will decisions are known by him, and the outcome of every event. God is not free to change His mind, since He is unchanging infinite perfection. Perfection does not need to change.

  4. Matt says:

Today’s message from Our Lady of Medjugorje:
February 25, 2016 Message to Marija

“Dear children! In this time of grace, I am calling all of you to conversion. Little children, you love little and pray even less. You are lost and do not know what your goal is. Take the cross, look at Jesus and follow Him. He gives Himself to you to the death on the cross, because He loves you. Little children, I am calling you: return to prayer with the heart so as to find hope and the meaning of your existence, in prayer. I am with you and am praying for you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
