The Warning is followed by an Upheaval in the Middle East

The following passages are excerpted from my book, The Warning, Consolation, and Miracle:

It has been said that the first secret of Medjugorje involves an “upheaval” in one part of the world. This idea is not the first secret itself, but rather, one result of the first secret. The Warning (the first secret) causes changes in the world. One of those many changes is an upheaval in one area of the world. This upheaval is a political and social upheaval, whereby evil persons, enraged and terrified by this blessed act of God in the first secret, and realizing that they are in danger of quickly losing power to good persons, gather all their supporters and then fight to maintain and increase their power over one particular area of the world, an area where evil is particularly strong: the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa.

These unrepentant wicked persons, these extremists, are not true devout Muslims who sincerely worship the One God; they are not even the Arab/Muslims who are rather worldly and who seek to bring western ways to the Middle East. Many of these extremists use religion as a mere pretext for their rise to power; they are entirely insincere in their own claimed religious beliefs. They deliberately feign religious devotion. Some of these extremists might be sincere, in the sense that they believe in their own extremist version of Islam, but this does not imply that they are acting in good conscience. However, others among these extremists are very worldly, and do not offer even the pretense of being devout.

The nations involved in this upheaval are Iraq (led by ISIS) and Iran and the other Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa. In those nations, when the event of the first secret occurs, many persons will repent and seek God in true sorrow for their sins, including many Muslims. However, a significant number of persons in that area of the world will instead reject this gift from God, which He does not force upon them. God shows them their own sinfulness, but in response they may freely choose to reject His gift of repentance. By rejecting so great a Mercy, they become so much more sinful than ever before, just as the Pharisees, in rejecting the true Messiah, became much more evil than they were before the Christ arrived.

These evil persons are newly spurred on by the terror of knowing their own sinfulness and by the fear that good persons might prevail in their nations. They are deeply enraged by this merciful act of God, and so they make a sudden concerted effort to increase and reinforce their power in these nations, in the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa. They act out of fear and desperation. It is an act of deliberately choosing evil over good….. When the Warning occurs, the extremists will make a desperate grab for power in nations not yet controlled by them. In nations already controlled by extremists, they will increase and consolidate their power.

The upheaval is an event that follows closely after the Warning (the first secret). It consists of coups, insurrections, and outright war. If extremists cannot take control of a nation’s political and military powers by coups or insurrections, then from those areas over which they do gain control, they will launch sudden attacks of warfare against the nations that they cannot capture internally. There will be war and battles, chaos and killings, the disorganized and desperate acts of a loosely-knit group of persons bound by their rejection of God. It is an all or nothing gamble that they are taking. And they win. They succeed in conquering all of the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa, from Iran and Iraq, throughout the Middle East (but not the holy land of Israel).

To the above quoted paragraphs, I will add a few more comments:

The Warning is a great blessing from God. But because we are sinners, some terrible consequences also follow after the Warning. Some persons will die of shock at seeing their sins. Some persons will refuse to repent. Some repentant persons will backslide into grave sin.

And in the Arab/Muslim nations of the Middle East and northern Africa, there will be a short series of battles and coups, in which good and holy Muslims fight against unrepentant extremists. Unfortunately, the extremists win, and then that group of nations will be consolidated, as one force to fight against the U.S. and Europe in World War 3. The Warning occurs on Good Friday, perhaps as early as 2017. And the great war that follows begins within months (less than a year). So the Warning, a blessed event, in a way sets the stage for the start of the tribulation with World War 3.

  1. Theresa says:

Thank you for the clarification. Truly, if The Warning occurs this year or not, I plan on going to Confession on a regular basis.

  2. Matt says:

In order for the war to start by the extremists it will involve an incredible amount of training, funding, and weaponry. Where will the get their funding? I find it very challenging that such a power military force can suddenly take over large swaths of the Middle East and then eventually Europe, without a large amount of money. Is it supernatural that God allows the extremists free reign?!

    • Ron Conte says:

I don’t think it is a question of money. They have many young men who are or will be willing to fight. And the Warning and subsequent events will be very fearful to the unrepentant.

  3. Mike says:

Is there a connection between the warning & September 23 2017 as seen here? http://www.vofoundation.org/blog/biblical-signs-sky-september-23-2017/

    • Ron Conte says:

No, there is no connection. That website is wrong. The Biblical passage predicting a sign seen in the sky is literal, an image of Mary seen in the sky, but that event only occurs in the distant future.
